TOL2024026 - Stormwater Separation Masterplan

The scope of work includes three main tasks which are discussed in more detail below. Each phase is to be priced separately. Phase I – Field Data Collection and Computer Models 1. Field data collection including assessed condition, physical information, photos, and surveyed location of the Towns aboveground stormwater infrastructure (ditches, culverts, swales), exported in ESRI geodatabase format. 2. Field data collection of topographical information (such as publicly available LIDAR elevation data) to analyse catchment areas, flows, volumes, etc. 3. Utilizing the Town’s ESRI GIS database information and publicly available LIDAR elevation data to provide complete computer model of the Town’s stormwater and combined systems. 4. Proponent is to provide commonly used software that is supported by recognized companies and either provide the software directly or a license in the Town’s name. Phase 2 – Calibration Calibrate the computer models with field measurements of flow data, as required. Phase 3 – Simulations Conduct simulations to provide the town with the major elements of stormwater incursions into the storm and combine wastewater systems based on current (1 in 5 year) and future projected (2100 Climate Change) flow conditions. The deliverable is to produce in conceptual form a masterplan for the Town’s future fully separated storm system to ensure that downstream components and outfalls are of adequate sizing and configuration. The Town would also like to understand the impacts of planned growth areas, and how that may impact the recommendations provided.
