Description
Section 14 of the Charter guarantees “a party or witness in any proceeding who does not understand or speak the language in which the proceedings are conducted” the right to assistance of an interpreter.
To fulfil the Ministry’s Charter responsibilities, the Court Services Division implemented the court interpretation accreditation model and the court interpreter test (CIT).
The Ministry is seeking Bids for the provision of test-scoring services for the court interpreter tests and related support services. These services enable the operations of court interpreter testing and accreditation.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s).
