    Description
    This Statistics Canada office provides procurement services to the public in both official languages.
    
    THERE IS SECURITY REQUIREMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SOLICITATION.
    
    Requirement 
    Statistics Canada (StatCan) requires language training services for English-as-a-second language training program for its personnel and other federal departments and agencies at its Language Training Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. The services will be required on an "as and when requested" basis, formatted in full-time, part-time, group and/or individual courses, in classrooms supplied by Statistics Canada. 
    
    Statistics Canada intends to award one (1) contract, following this tender notice.
    
    Evaluation Process
    Bidders MUST meet all the mandatory requirements of the Request for Proposal (RFP).  No further consideration will be given to bidders not meeting all the mandatory criteria.  
    
    Period of the Contract
    Services are to be provided from April 1st, 2014 up to March 31st, 2016, with the possibility of extending the contract for two (2) additional periods of two (2) years each, under the same terms and conditions.
    
    Basis of Selection
    The responsive bid with the lowest price per point will be recommended for award of a contract.
    	
    Debriefings
    After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
