    Description
    The National Capital Commission (NCC) is looking for a Contractor who will be responsible for fungicide injections of Elm trees within the National Capital Region, this work is part of the NCC Dutch Elm Disease (DED) program. The inventoried elms are all located within a radius of 10 km from Parliament Hill.
    
    This contract is for a two (2) year period, with a one year option to extend.

    The work included in this specification involves the supplying of all labor, equipment, materials, tools, disposal fees, licensing, permits and permissions necessary to perform the work in this contract, and the removal of all debris from site. 
    The Contractor shall have a valid Pesticide Applicator’s License for Ontario and Québec
    
    To be considered, your proposal must be received no later than 3 p.m. Ottawa time on March 11, 2014 at the National Capital Commission, 3rd Floor Service Centre, 40 Elgin Street in Ottawa, Canada, K1P 1C7, with a reference to tender file #NG259. 
    
    Faxed, email or late submissions will not be accepted.
    
    There is a public opening scheduled for March 11, 2014 in room 306 at 40 Elgin Street in Ottawa, Ontario shortly after 3 p.m.
    
    Enquiries regarding this tender must be submitted in writing as early as possible within the solicitation period to the Senior Contract Officer, Nicole Galipeau by email at nicole.galipeau@ncc-ccn.ca or by facsimile at 613-239-5007, and the telephone number is 613-239-5678 ext. 5191. Enquiries should be received no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer not being provided. To ensure consistency and quality of the information provided to Bidders, the Senior Contract Officer shall examine the content of the enquiry and shall decide whether or not to issue an amendment. All enquiries and other communications related to this tender sent throughout the solicitation period are to be directed ONLY to the Senior Contract Officer named above. Non-compliance with this requirement during the solicitation period can, for that reason alone, result in disqualification of a tender.
    
    Note that amounts quoted in this RFP are in Canadian dollars. Payment is net is 30 days.
