MOVING AND RELOCATION SERVICES - MEXICO

The purpose of this RFSO is to establish up to three (3) Standing offers (SOs) with qualified Contractors who can provide, on an “as and when requested basis” to the Embassy of Canada in Mexico City and Surrounding Areas, the services specified within the Statement of Work, summarized as follows:

•	Preparation,  packing and/or in-transit storage of personal effects and personal motor vehicles for outgoing shipments of DFATD employees and employees of other government departments who are being relocated to Canada or  to another Mission abroad (xposting) under the terms of the Foreign Service Directive 15 (FSD 15, a copy can be found in Appendix A);
•	Unpacking, delivery and/or in-transit storage of incoming personal effects/vehicle shipments of DFATD employees and employees of other government departments who are being relocated from Canada or another mission (xposting) to Mexico City and surrounding areas, under the terms of the Foreign Service Directives;
•	Local moves from one location to another in Mexico,  including preparation, packing, delivery to new location (residence or office) and unpacking and/or storage of personal effects and government owned furniture and furnishings;
•	Provision of personnel for internal moving services to be carried out at the mission premises, Canada-based staff quarters and at the Official Residences of the Embassies to Mexico;
•	Storage of government-owned furniture and furnishings, household goods and personal belongings for short- and long-term periods
