Enterprise Application Archiving and Decommissioning Solutions

ESDC is requesting feedback from industry regarding capacity within the marketplace to meet the ESDC CMS application retirement - data archiving management high level requirements. This Request for Information (RFI) is a means of gathering information, to assist in accomplishing the following specific purposes:

1	To investigate possible approaches and techniques for meeting CMS application retirement – data archiving management requirements in a timely and cost effective manner;
2	To determine the extent to which current capacity exists within the marketplace for an enterprise data archiving management solution “turn-key” or integrated solution approach;
3	To investigate the transition/migration, change management and related support services during and subsequent to the transition to the new data archiving management solution (e.g. help desk, documentation, training, etc.); and,
4	To determine how vendors would work collaboratively with ESDC in the delivery of a robust and forward-looking enterprise data archiving management solution while ensuring compliance with applicable legislative, regulatory and policy requirements and providing assurance of public accountability.
