Requirement:

(a)	Background

EC requires expert help in ensuring its public web pages and applications are fully compliant to accessibility guidelines (WCAG, version 2, level AA), or the latest version of WCAG at time of work request from the Technical Authority.

(b)	Brief Description

Elections Canada requires the services of two professional firms, specializing in web accessibility conformance evaluation and testing services, and training services, as more particularly set-out herein, as and when requested by the Technical Authority. Additional information can be found in Annex A.

Period of the Contract:

The Contract period will be for two years from the Effective Date of the Contract.

The bidder grants to Elections Canada the irrevocable option to extend the Term of the Contract by two additional periods of up to one year each under the same terms and conditions.

Security Requirement:

There is a security requirement associated with the requirement. For additional information, consult Part 5 – Security, Financial and other Requirements, and Part 6 – Resulting Contract.

Trade Agreements:

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement, the Canada Colombia Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement and the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement.
