Description
Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada has a requirement to develop an evaluation design that will be used to support the implementation of the evaluation of the Canada Research Chairs (CRC) program. The evaluation is required as per the evaluation coverage requirements stipulated in the Treasury Board’s Policy on Evaluation and with respect to section 42.1 of the Financial Administrative Act. To achieve this objective, an evaluation design will guide the assessment of the program’s relevance and performance for the following five year period: 2011-12 to 2015-16. The evaluation design project is scheduled to start in November 2014.
