Description
Requirement: The work is to complete stone masonry repointing and repair to approximately 900 square meters of wall area at the Cave and Basin National Historic Site, Banff, Alberta. This site is home to critical habitat to an endangered species of snail. Project Timeline: The work must be completed on or before October 31, 2015. Mandatory Site Visit It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the Cave and Basin National Historic Site, 311 Cave Avenue, Banff, Alberta on March 30, 2015. The site visit will begin at 2pm MDT. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 4:00pm, March 27, 2015 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should confirm in their bid that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Bid Submission: Bids are to be sent to: Parks Canada Agency Contracting Operations Suite 1300 - 635 8 Avenue SW Calgary, Alberta T2P 3M3 Information: National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act. Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered. This PCA office provides procurement services to the public in English. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
