Requirement:
Parks Canada Agency requires a prime contractor to supply all necessary labour, equipment and materials to construct the Edith Pass Trail Bridge replacement in Banff National Park.
Project Timeline:
The work must be completed on or before March 31, 2016.
Site Visit:
There will be an optional site visit on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 1:00PM (MST). Interested bidders are to meet at the Parks Canada Compound located at 216 Hawk Avenue, Banff, AB in Banff National Park.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the optional site visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
NOTE: Bidders who did not attend the first site visit held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 10:00AM (MST) will not be precluded from bidding on the above requirement. Bidders who attended the first site visit are not required to attend the second site visit.

Information:
National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
This PCA office provides procurement services to the public in English.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
