Banff Administration Grounds Rehabilitation - Banff National Park

Requirement:

Work for this Contract generally consists of the replacement of water, sanitary, storm, electrical and gas services, rebuild of pavement structures and the repair and rebuilding of the Cretaceous and connecting ponds at the Banff Administration Grounds in Banff National Park, Alberta.

Mandatory Site Visit:

There will be a site visit on August 3, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Interested bidders are to meet at the Banff Administration Building, 101 Mountain Ave, in Banff National Park, Alberta.

Bidders are asked to register prior to the site visit with the Contracting Authority.

The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.

Bidders are to allow enough time for travel to account for increased traffic in Banff and construction delays on the Trans-Canada Highway. Bidders who arrive late to the mandatory site visit will only be allowed to join at the discretion of the Project Manager leading the site visit.

Project Timeline:

The work must be completed on or before October 31, 2017.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
