    DCC - PF204483 - ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE - MAINTENANCE & SUPPORT SERVICES WITH SECURITY - BORDEN, ONTARIO

    PURPOSE OF THIS ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE

    This is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of potential projects with anticipated security requirements to provide interested Facility Maintenance contractors an opportunity to apply for security clearances. Note that there is no guarantee that the project will proceed.

    DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

    The Maintenance Services Contract is to provide Inspection, Testing, Maintenance, and Repair Services for the facilities located at CFB Borden. The site encompasses approximately 400 base buildings.

    Estimated project value is $5,000,000 per year. It is anticipated that the contract will be set up for 3 years with possible extension to a total of 10 years.

    DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES

    The Maintenance Contract may include but not necessarily limited to the following services:

    • Door Systems - Inspection, testing, Maintenance and Repair (ITMR)

    • Electrical Systems ITMR

    • Elevator and Lifting Systems ITMR

    • Fire Detection and Suppression Systems ITMR

    • Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Systems ITMR

    • Plumbing Systems Repairs

    • Life Safety Systems Inspections

    • Structural Systems Inspections

    It is anticipated that the procurement for this project will be initiated in the Fall of 2016. This is conditional on the project receiving approval to proceed by DND.

    SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

    For this contract, Contractors will be required to hold a valid DESIGNATED ORGANIZATION SCREENING (DOS), issued or approved by the Canadian

    Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Service and Procurement Canada (PSPC).

    Sub-contractors and sub-consultants will be required to hold a valid DESIGNATED ORGANIZATION SCREENING (DOS) issued or approved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Service and Procurement Canada (PSPC).

    The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by CISD/PSPC.

    PROCESS

    Contractors that do not meet the stipulated security requirements and that are interested in submitting a bid for this procurement can apply for the security clearance through the Industrial Security Program (ISP). This can be done by following the procedure on DCC’s website at the following link: http://www.dcccdc.gc.ca/english/contractors_consultants/. Contractors are asked to submit their request prior to September 2, 2016 quoting the following information:

    - Contract number PF204483; and

    - Level of clearance requested to be sponsored for.
