    Description of Work:
    DFATD requires the services of SAP ERP specialist in the category ERP Technical Analysts, level 3, to deliver on ABAP development and support related to major initiatives. DFATD requires one (1) Level 3 ERP Programmer Analysts for this contract through the issuance of Task Authorizations.

    SCOPE AND OBJECTIVE
    DFATD is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Financial and Administration System (FAS), the Grants and Contribution System (DFATD) as well as the Financial Administration Reporting System (FARS), SAP ERP 6.0 and SAP BW Unicode installations at DFATD. Note: The term SAP refers to SAP ERP 6.0 throughout this document. The scope of work for the ABAP ERP Programmer Analyst includes providing technical support to the Corporate Enterprise System (SIC) division which is responsible for the Financial and Administration System (FAS) and the Grants and Contributions System SAP and their related business processes in DFATD. Technical support is provided to over 2,000 end users at HQ and Missions throughout the world for the two (2) company codes configured. DFATD currently uses the following SAP modules: FI, FM, CO, MM, PM, PS, SD, SFT and Authorizations, within the Canadian federal government departments SAP cluster footprint. FAS users operate in nearly 100 countries and currencies, thereby making configuration design and support particularly challenging.

    Under the direction of the Project Authority, the resources will perform and complete tasks and deliverables with diligence and efficiency.

    The activities that will be undertaken are, but not limited to:

    • Provide ABAP support of the SAP ERP 6.0 and SAP BW systems;

    • Provide maintenance support for web applications built using SAP BSP technology;

    • Provide support for the related projects, such as but not limited to:

      • Rollout of Standard payment System (SPS) solution at missions overseas

      • Enhancements to Salary Management Tool (SFT)

      • Implementation of SAP Procure to Pay solution with Workflow

      • Development of web services solutions

      • SAP ERP 6.0 Enhancement Pack 7.0 Upgrade

    • Contribute, as requested, to approved technical projects.

    • The work is currently not being performed by a contracted resource
