    Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals for Inspection, Testing, Minor Repair (ITM) of Fire Detection and Suppression Systems, Quebec Region (Valcartier Garrison, DRDC Valcartier, Montréal Garrison, St-Jean Garrison, 3 Wing Bagotville and off site armouries)

    In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals to undertake Inspection, Testing, Minor Repair (ITM) of Fire Detection and Suppression Systems in the Quebec Region.

    Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise. The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposals is to select the proponent with the highest total score.

    This opportunity follows procurement procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.

    The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of SECRET, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). The project security requirements for this project are identified in the Procurement Documents.

    The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $4,600,000 for the first three (3) years. If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and DCC, the contract may be extended for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.

    Various site visits will be arranged and advertised shortly.
