    TITLE: Sentinel Survey Project- Mobile Gear

    DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:

    Each otter trawl vessel will fish between 30 and 70 pre-determined stations in the southern Gulf of St. Lawrence during a three-week period, between 01 August 2017 and 31 August 2017. The exact locations will be specified by the Project Authority after contract award.

    The area of coverage for each vessel with an example of station locations is provided bellow. The final list of latitudes and longitudes of the stations will be sent to the contractor after contract award. There will be NO changes or substitutions to the stations assigned, unless approved by the Project Authority or representative. There is a maximum of four separate groupings of stations; one for each project. Each grouping may only be fished by the vessel under contract to that project.

    DURATION OF CONTRACT

    The contract period is from June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018 with option to renew for two additional years.

    The project MUST be completed within the time stated.

    The services of the Contractor will be required for a period of three (3) weeks commencing on 01 August 2017. The completion date of this project is 31 August 2017.

    ENQUIRIES – BID SOLICITATION

    All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority no later than SEVEN (7) calendar days before the bid closing date. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.

    PROCESS AND SELECTION METHODOLOGY

    A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
