    Deaerator replacement and related work

    This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada – Archambault minimum Institution

    Trade agreement: The Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT)

    Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.

    Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest priced compliant bid.

    Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.

    Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.

    Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.

    Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service of Canada is looking for a general contractor. Supply and install a new deaerator with all its' components (level controls and others), as well as two condensate transfer pumps. Work shall also include retrofitting of the two condensate tanks located in the basement entrance and on the second floor of the thermal power plant, including addition of an access trap, a purge and a decantation pipe on the main tank (second floor).

    Please note that there will be a site visit on July 5th, 2017 at 9:00. Interested Bidders should present themselves at the works office of Archambault minimum Institution, at 244 Montée Gagnon, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines (Quebec) J0N1H0.

    It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the places of works. Arrangements have been made for the site visit. Details about the site visit and prior security clearance for this visit are contained in the bid solicitation document.

    The Contractor must submit the security clearance form(s) CSC-1279 and a copy of the Driver’s licence for everyone visiting the works site, including the subcontractors. The forms must be sent no later than June 30th, 2017, by email at 341-projets@csc-scc.gc.ca

    The work must be completed before November 30, 2017.

The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
