DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – VR300093 – Major Stone Wall and Infrastructure Repairs, Fortress of Old Québec, Québec

The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to conduct major stone wall and infrastructure repairs at the Fortress of Old Québec (Citadelle de Québec), mainly the refection of the North curtain wall fortification walls and the postern sealing, the refection of the fortification walls located on the left flank, left face and right face of the Bastion du Roi, and the refection of the masonry and roofing of building QC-032, the old quarter-guard.

A site visit, which will be the only opportunity to access the work site, has been arranged for the following date, time and location:

The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $16,575,000.

Bidders are advised that bid and contract security is required when the advertised budget (estimated cost for this opportunity) is greater than $100,000. Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers (Form DCL193), paragraph 5.

The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 961 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 60 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.

This procurement follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.
