Description

To collect the annual appliance shipment data (with model numbers allowing linkage to the EnerGuide Appliance Database) to obtain the unit energy consumption (UEC) for refrigerators (including wine chillers), freezers, dishwashers, electric ranges, clothes washers, electric clothes dryers and dehumidifiers for the year 2017.

  • To determine the distribution of each product, by type and size;
  • To determine the distribution of each product, by UEC, for the same appliances in the same years and related statistics;
  • To identify and track the ENERGY STAR certified products and their penetration in the marketplace.
