Description
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Salmonid Enhancement Program, is seeking bids to operate and maintain the Shuswap River Hatchery based near Lumby, British Columbia. The contractor will be responsible for broodstock collection, spawning, rearing and subsequent release of two Chinook stocks (Middle and Lower Shuswap Rivers). The contractor will be responsible for all data collection, biological sampling, coded wire tag marking and data reporting associated with these stocks. Maintenance and repairs to the facility are also required.
