HIGH SPEED LETTER OPENERS

Objective

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) seeks to enter into a contract with a single Contractor for:

• • the supply, delivery, and installation of twelve (12) high-speed letters openers, to the locations outlined in section 2.1 of Annex A – Statement of Work, within sixty (60) calendar days of contract award;
  • the supply, delivery, and installation of additional high-speed letter openers on an "as and when requested" basis to CRA locations across Canada;
  • the provision of extended on-site maintenance services, for high-speed letter openers provided by the Contractor under this Agreement, to CRA locations across Canada on an "as and when requested" basis; and
  • the provision of operator training, to CRA locations across Canada, on an "as and when requested" basis,

all in accordance with Annex A: Statement of Work.

The period of the of the resulting contract will be (i) 3 years from the Contract award date or (ii) from the contract award date until the date when the last on-site hardware maintenance service period ends,

whichever is later.

The period during which high-speed letter openers, on-site hardware maintenance services, and operator training can be ordered under the resulting contract is three (3) years from the contract award date.

The resulting contract will include the option (irrevocable to CRA) to extend the contract period and the ordering period by up to two (2) additional one-year periods (each) under the same conditions.

CONTRACTOR SELECTION METHODOLOGY

The evaluation of proposals will be performed in four steps as follows:

Step 1 – 　Evaluation against Mandatory Criteria

Step 2 – 　Evaluation of Financial Proposals

Step 3 – 　 Selection - Mandatory Technical Criteria - Responsive Bid with the Lowest Bid Evaluation Price

Step 4 – 　Proof of Proposal Testing

Step 5 - Contract Entry

The CRA reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
