Purpose of this Advance Procurement Notice
This is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of a potential project with anticipated security requirements to provide interested contractors an opportunity to apply for security clearances. Note that there is no guarantee that this project will proceed.
Description of the Project
Provide Base Janitorial Services for CFB Suffield, Alberta.
Description of the SERVICES
The services for this project may include but not necessarily limited to the following:
1. Janitorial cleaning services (internal and external elements), housekeeping services, health clinics cleaning services
2. Window cleaning, deep cleaning, floor wax and carpet cleaning
3. Removal of any accumulated snow or ice at building entries
The approximate estimated cost for this project is $5,200,000.00 over two years with the potential to have one one-year extension and an increase in value of up to $2,700,000.00. The total potential opportunity is in the order of $7,900,000.00.
It is anticipated that this procurement will be initiated early 2019. This is conditional on the project receiving approval to proceed by DND.
Security Requirements
Contractors will be required to hold a valid DESIGNATED ORGANIZATION SCREENING (DOS) issued or approved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).
Sub-contractors will be required to hold a valid DESIGNATED ORGANIZATION SCREENING (DOS) issued or approved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).
Process
Contractors that do not meet the stipulated security requirements and that are interested in submitting a bid for this procurement that fall under this program can apply for the security clearance through the Industrial Security Program (ISP). This can be done by following the procedure on DCC’s website at the following link: http://www.dcccdc.gc.ca/english/contractors_consultants.html. Contractors are asked to submit their request prior to February 18, 2019 quoting the following information:
• Project number (sponsorship number) SD1899-07 and
•Level of clearance requested to be sponsored for.
