Description of Work:
Health Canada requires the services of four (4) I.11 Technology Architect – L2.
- Introduction
The Regulatory Operations and Regions Branch (RORB) delivers quality compliance and enforcement, and complementary scientific programs to inform and protect Canadians form health risks associated with products, substances and the environment. As a science-based regulator, we play a stewardship role that seeks to combine the best evidence with the most effective tools to protect and promote the health of all Canadians through regulatory and policy expertise that are trusted in Canada and internationally.
- Objective
The Technology and Business Innovation’s (TBI) division, within the Planning and Operations Directorate in RORB, intends to stabilize, modernize and transform the way RORB delivers their programs and services to ensure the very best value. As such, RORB plans to continue investing in various IT projects to support the development and implementation (e.g. identifying the requirements, performing impact analysis and developing technical architectures ) of business enabling technologies. The expected outcome is to fully support regulatory responsibilities, improve user experience, and improve customer service for its clients and stakeholders.
To achieve these goals and objectives, Health Canada (HC) has a requirement for up to four (4), TBIPS Level 2 Technology Architect to support the application development and offer infrastructure development services across the RORB on an as and when required basis.

*Task Authorizations (TA) will be issued against one (1) Service Outline Agreement to support the various Investment Plan initiatives*
