    Description

Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) – Amazon Web Services Partner

About Farm Credit Canada (FCC): FCC is Canada’s leading agriculture lender, with a healthy portfolio of more than $36 billion. Our employees are dedicated to the future of Canadian agriculture and its role in feeding an ever-growing world. We provide flexible, competitively priced financing, management software, information and knowledge specifically designed for the agriculture and agri-food industry. As a self-sustaining Crown corporation, our profits are reinvested back into the agriculture and food industry we serve and the communities where our customers and employees live and work while providing an appropriate return to our shareholder. For more information, visit www.fcc.ca or follow us on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and on Twitter @FCCagriculture

ITQ Scope: FCC is currently leveraging multiple data centers, which include: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and two (2) data centers hosted by a third-party vendor. FCC is planning to migrate the majority of its workloads to AWS and leverage cloud native services. FCC is releasing this ITQ with the intention of identifying and selecting a partner capable of assisting FCC in the migration to AWS.

FCC will expect the successful proponent to have demonstrated capacity and expertise in the following areas, as they relate to AWS:

    • Migration and transfer services

    • Database and analytics services

    • Management & governance services

    • Security, privacy, identity and compliance services

    • Networking services

    • Developer tools and application integration services

    • Cloud native application development

    • Coverage of remaining AWS product offerings including, but not limited to, compute and storage

    • Ability to deliver new services as AWS expands its offerings

    ITQ Schedule:

    • ITQ issue date: June 17, 2019

    • Vendor questions accepted until: June 28, 2019 at 12:00 PM (Noon)

    • ITQ closing date and time: July 12, 2019 at 12:00 PM (Noon)

    ITQ Process Considerations

     Vendors should note that:

    • this opportunity notice references a non-binding, competitive procurement process, not a call for tenders. FCC is not obligated to proceed with the work described in the ITQ scope and may cancel the ITQ at any time.

    • FCC’s procurement process allows for negotiation between FCC and one or more vendors, prior to awarding a contract.
