    Description

    1.2 Introduction

    The Canada Vigilance Program, Health Canada's post-market surveillance program, collects and evaluates pharmacovigilance reports for marketed health products in Canada. Information collected through the program is evaluated using Canada Vigilance's online database. Health Canada has implemented an E2B gateway designed from ArisGlobal's products for the transmission of database-based individual case report data (NCIR).

    1.3 Objectives of the Requirement

    Health Canada (HC) requires professional information management and information technology services, upon request, to enhance and update the Canada Vigilance System, based on the ArisGlobal product line and other projects pharmacovigilance.

    As a result, Health Canada will employ three (3) Level 2 Business Analysts, three (3) Level 2 Systems Analysts and two (2) Level 2 Technology Architect as required. The resulting contract, which will be established with a sole supplier for a period of three years, will result in Task Authorizations to enhance and update the Canada Vigilance System, which has been designed from the core of ArisGlobal products.
