5P420-19-0225/A Waste Water System Upgrades – Batoche National Historic Site
REQUIREMENT
Parks Canada Agency is inviting qualified Design-Build (D-B) bidders for the rehabilitation of the waste water treatment system including electrical upgrades, control upgrades, and replacement of components of the rotating biological contactor (RBC). The cover of the RBC will also be repaired.
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $100,001> $500,000, Taxes extra.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
There will be an optional site visit on October 3, 2019 at 11am CST. Interested bidders are to meet at Administration Building at Batoche NHS. Travel North from Saskatoon on Highway #11 to Rosthern. Just north of Rosthern turn east onto Highway 312, and then north at Highway 225. Batoche is 11km North of the junction at 312 & 225.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the contracting authority before the optional site visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
Period of Contract
Contractor shall perform and complete the Work no later than May 15, 2020.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
This PCA office provides procurement services to the public in English.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
