Invitation to Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) - HOUSING

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is asking interested parties to provide information for a potential opportunity to provide THREE (3) residential units for lease.

 Lease Components

• a lease term of approximately 10 years, commencing on or about August 1, 2021, with the RCMP’s option for two additional 5 year renewal periods.

• provide and lease three (3) residential units consisting of a minimum of three (3) bedrooms each unit. Each proposed residential unit shall have an approximate total living area including storage space of:

Unit Type Minimum Gross Area Per Unit

Minimum 3 – Bedroom 110 square metres (+/- 20 square meters)

• The proposed residential units should satisfy or be capable of satisfying the following criteria:

1. Each proposed residential unit must have been constructed in the past 10 years and be no more than two (2) storeys in height;
2. Each proposed residential unit must be an individual residential dwelling that may form part of a duplex, four-plex, townhouse or row-house;
3. The residential units must include: a living room, dining area, kitchen, appropriate utility hook ups, one full bathroom including tub and shower, one half bathroom including shower, laundry room with utility hook ups and sufficient residential storage space;
4. Two (2) parking spots;
5. Minimum four (4) foot high fenced yard;
6. The physical characteristics of the land, the building, the surrounding area/environment, including neighbouring land uses, shall be compatible with the RCMP’s intended use of the accommodation;

The proposed residential unit(s) must be located within the forty (40) km of the Town of Punnichy from whom the interested party or parties will lease the Land if awarded a lease contract by the RCMP.
