Description
Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) requires a company to store all the gas detection monitors and to perform all maintenance and testing according to manufacturers’ recommendations. This will include the storage of calibration gasses adequate to test the accuracy of the equipment. The company will replace all parts and accessories needed to adhere to manufacturer’s specifications once authorization has been received from CFIA. A monthly instrument report will be generated by the company to outline the service(s) completed on the units.
On a 24/7 basis, the company must be able to prepare for shipment:
· any number of the CFIA’s gas detection monitors
· sufficient calibration gases to allow for daily ‘bump testing’ while the units are deployed.
