Vacant Land Required - Stellarton, Nova Scotia

The Government of Canada wishes to acquire a three to six-acre (1 to 1.6 Hectares) piece of vacant land (with municipal services or the ability for approved well and septic) in or around the Albion Industrial Park area.

Subject lands must be located within a four kilometer radius of Highway 374 and the Trans Canada Highway.

The site must meet the following criteria.

• 3-6 acres (1 to 1.6 Hectares) in size;
• Be located near the Trans-Canada Highway;
• Have arterial road frontage (direct road access or confirmation of ability to obtain access);
• Preferred to be zoned commercial, institutional or industrial;
• Preferably be rectangular in shape;
• Be in close proximity to amenities such as service stations, financial institutions and restaurants.

  Information provided by the owner, or by the owner’s agent, shall include: a map showing the location of the lands, a site plan, a description of the current zoning, details of services/utilities, a statement as to the nature of respondent’s rights in the land, and a completed Property Transfer Assessment Questionnaire, which is attached to this notice. The Government of Canada may request additional information. Agents submitting a response to this Request for Information shall provide the Government of Canada with a letter from the owner authorizing them to do so.
