The purpose of this Negotiated Request for Proposal (the “NRFP”) is to solicit proposals for Digital Asset Management Software as a Service (SaaS).
There are two (2) sections to the Scope of Work:
Scope of Work A: Digital Asset Management Software as a Service (SaaS)
Scope of Work B: Team Canada Digital Asset Management Software as a Service (SaaS)
Proponents may submit a proposal for Scope of Work A or Scope of Work B.
DC’s current DAM is both a repository to manage and catalogue Assets, as well as a distribution tool to share Assets with international media and a variety of tourism businesses. DC’s Digital Asset Management platform is referred to throughout the organization as the Brand Canada Library (BCL). The BCL is currently accessed by 200 unique users per month, and requires 15 terabytes (TB) to store the entire Asset catalogue.
Many of our Users expect functionality similar to online shopping sites or stock photography agencies.
DC’s key objectives for the new DAM platform are:
- To provide access to Destination Canada’s assets in a user friendly, online shop-like, experience. We want our assets to be easily searched and found by users who will have little familiarity with DAM platforms.
- To maintain an organized collection of assets and protect our brand identity.
- To understand how our assets are being used and to track access/downloads for protection of DC’s Intellectual Property.
- To have a solution that enables additional Tenants to join the DAM platform.
