    Description

    SUMMARY:

    Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) requires a Contractor to conduct construction activities to build a new passenger-operated cableway in a timely manner at Oldman River near the Mouth, Alberta, allowing continuous production of discharge data. The construction services are to be carried out in accordance with all applicable guidelines and standards, and result in minimal impact to the environment.

    The station is located at the legal land description of SW24-11-14-W4, which is approximately 110 km northeast of Lethbridge, AB, as seen in Figure 1. The coordinates of the station are 49.91889° N, 111.80000° W. The home side is located on the left bank of the river, which is also the north side, and the far side is located on the right south bank. Both sides of the river are accessible by vehicle via private property.

    ECCC estimates that completion of the project will require about fifteen (15) business days in total, and the Work is anticipated to be completed by October 28, 2022.

    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
