    Purpose

    The purpose of this RFI is to provide an update to industry on the projected schedule for the FDMS RFP and subsequently provide an update with regards to accessing FDMS Technical Information in advance of the Draft RFP release. The dates identified below are provided for information purposes only and may change without prior notice to any prospective bidders at the discretion of Canada.

    DRDC Intellectual Property (IP) Licensing

    Prospective bidders are being made aware, through this RFI, of the opportunity to access a standardized FDMS technical information package which contains DRDC IP. This package can be accessed via the Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Explore IP website. Prospective bidders can access the standardized technical information package once a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) has been signed and returned to DRDC. Following the return of an NDA, DRDC will manage and share the standardized technical package after the closing of this RFI on Nov 30th, 2022 and after receipt of completed NDAs.

    The Government of Canada makes no provision of accuracy of this data. Furthermore having access to the FDMS IP is not a requisite of the formal RFP, rather it is at the prospective bidder’s discretion.
