The Purpose and Nature of this LOI: This Letter of Interest (LOI) is to provide information and obtain feedback from Inuit Firms and Industry with regard to the replacement of the power supply system of the High Arctic Data Communication Systems (HADCS) Microwave (MW) repeater system.

The nature of this LOI is to achieve the following:

 To allow for Inuit Firms and Industry to review and provide feedback to the requirements as set out in the Draft Statement of Work Overview in Annex A; and the Draft Basis of Payment Overview in Annex B. Responses received will be used to assist Canada in finalizing the requirements and in developing achievable objectives and deliverables.

 Provide Inuit Firms and Industry with information on the HADCS mandatory Inuit Benefit requirements including an overview to the rated criteria as set out in Annex D;

 Inform and engage Inuit Firms and Industry on legislative, policy and certifications required to meet the operational requirements, including a Draft overview of the Insurance requirements set out in Annex C; and Inuit Firm shall have the same meaning as “Inuit firm” as provided in the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement.

We are not looking for quotes or any type of financial proposal. This is strictly an RFI to obtain feedback and information to assist Canada in finalizing the requirements and in developing achievable objectives and deliverables.
