    THIS REQUEST IS RESERVED FOR HOLDERS OF SUPPLY ARRANGEMENT # E60PV-19EQUI ONLY, FOR THE PURCHASE OF LABORATORY AND SCIENTIFIC EQUIPMENT, PARTS AND ACCESSORIES, SUPPLIES AND SERVICES.

    Only suppliers currently pre-qualified on Supply Arrangement E60PV-19EQUI were invited to submit a bid.

    In accordance with the Supply Arrangement, this notice is published on Buy and Sell Canada for a period of 40 calendar days. The closing date published on this notice shall indicate the duration of its publication. For the closing date of any solicitation under the Supply Arrangement, invited suppliers should refer to the solicitation documents.

    Suppliers who do not have a supply arrangement with Public Works and Government Services Canada for laboratory and scientific equipment, parts and accessories, supplies and services are not eligible to bid. Any bids received from suppliers not pre-qualified in the Supply Arrangement will not be evaluated.

    Suppliers may, at any time, qualify under supply arrangement E60PV-19EQUI for laboratory and scientific equipment, parts and accessories, supplies and services. Interested suppliers must download solicitation document E60PV-19EQUI/C on achatsetventes.gc.ca and submit a response according to the requirements of the Request for Supply Arrangement.

    Statement of Requirement:

    National Research Council Canada (NRC) - Aquatic, Crop Resource Development (ACRD) portfolio has a requirement for the supply of a Vertical Autoclave which must meet all of the mandatory technical requirements as specified below. 

    The requirement must include all of the following:

    Mandatory Technical Requirements

    1. Must be a vertical autoclave (top-loading)
    2. Must hold and sterilize two (2) 3L Erlenmeyer flasks with media, minimum 80L internal capacity
    3. Must require electrical as the only utility connection; no requirement for steam, potable water, distilled water, hot water or drain
    4. Must include integrated temperature probe(s)
    5. Must have at least 4 validated cycles for glass, plastics, liquid media and liquid waste
    6. Must be able to be relocated within the facility as needed
    7. Must take up minimal amount of floor area, no more than 5 square feet
    8. Must hold a Canadian Registration Number (CRN): a number issued by each province or territory in Canada by an authorized safety authority for any boiler, pressure vessel or fitting that operates at a pressure greater than 15 psig (1 barg). If your pressure retaining product or system operates at a pressure greater than 15 psig you require a Canadian Registration Number (CRN) to legally install and operate your product in Canada.
    9. Must include accessories required for a fully functional autoclave: basket, stand, cleaning tablets, printer paper, autoclave tape, boost transfer (if required)
    10. Must be CSA approved or equivalent

    Manuals

    The Contractor must deliver 1 complete set of Documentation, in English with the deliverables. 

    This documentation must include all publications pertaining to technical specifications, installation requirements and operating instructions.

    Maintenance and Support Services

    The vendor must provide a parts and labour warranty for a minimum of two years after delivery.

    Delivery Point

    The Contractor must deliver all deliverables at the location specified in the Contract.
