Department of National Defence has a requirement for supply and delivery of snow traction tire chains for the Canadian Army fleets primarily targeted for the Light Armoured Vehicles 6.0. A Request for Standing Offer is to be established for an initial period of two years with the option, at Canada’s discretion, to extend the standing offer for up to three additional one year periods.

Evaluation of offers will be based on mandatory and point rated criteria as described in the RFSO document. The top ranked offer will be retained for verification of compliance to specifications and will be required to provide a sample that meets all the requirements prior to award of a standing offer.

Delivery of tire chains is to be Free on Board destination to either: 
7 CFSD Edmonton, AB or 
25 CFSD Montreal, QC 

There is no security requirement applicable to this Request for Standing Offer.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
