    1.0 Purpose and Nature of the Request for Information (RFI)

    Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is requesting Industry feedback regarding sustainment work and management of the CT114 Tutor Aircraft used by the RCAF “Snowbirds” (431 Squadron) as the primary Air Demonstration platform. The Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment (AETE) currently uses the CT114 for pilot proficiency and flight test programs, but will cease to do so before new In-Service Support (ISS) contract(s) are awarded.

    The objectives of this RFI are to:

    a. Provide industry with information on the current contracts in place for the Aircraft Second line Maintenance, Painting services, Repair and Overhaul (R&O), Technical Investigation and Engineering Support (TIES), and Spares in support of the CT114 Aircraft.  Note the J85 Engines are not included as they will be part of a separate J85 Propulsion Group Sustainment (PGS) contracting process;

    b. Determine industry’s interest and ability to provide support to the CT114 Tutor Aircraft, including conducting the maintenance work and data management to life cycle and logistics support (See potential work scope in Section 4.0); and

    c. Solicit input from industry, and determine if further engagement such as industry days or one-on-one sessions would be beneficial to all parties.

    d. Seek input to assist in the potential development of the economic benefits approach through the Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) Policy, including Value Proposition (VP).

    Delivery Date: Above-mentioned

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
