Trade Agreement: CETA / WTO-AGP / CPTPP / CFTA Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: National Aerial Surveillance Program T8493-190062/B Pakeman, Jeffrey Telephone No. - (343) 572-5074 ( ) Fax No. - ( ) - ( ) Line 1, SURVEILLANCE PROGRAM EQUIPMENT Transport Canada (TC), Aircraft Services Directorate (ASD) has a requirement to upgrade a DASH 8-100 series aircraft (MSN 017) to conform to the National Aerial Surveillance Program (NASP) requirements and to upgrade two (2) additional Dash 8-100 aircraft (MSN 020 and 046) to provide greater NASP capability. There is also an optional requirement for Mission Systems Electrical Power Distribution to C-FTFM (MSN 017) C-GCFJ (MSN 020) and C-GSUR (MSN 046). The period of the Contract will be for 3 years from the date of Contract Award. The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to 1 additional 1 year period under the same conditions. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their bid electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 2 entitled Bidder Instructions, and Part 3 entitled Bid Preparation Instructions, of the bid solicitation, for further information. A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive. The selection will be based on the highest responsive combined rating of technical merit and price. The ratio will be 60% for the technical merit and 40% for the price. Canada anticipates one (1) contract will result from this solicitation. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
