IMPORTANT: This tender is part of Public Works and Government Services Canadas initiative to submit bid submission files electronically using epost Connect. Interested bidders should refer to Part 2 of the solicitation document entitled Instructions to bidders/offerors/suppliers, as the case may be, for instructions on how to participate and submit their files electronically for this tender. 1.0 Scope The Department of National Defence (DND), including the British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS) at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Suffield, Ralston Alberta has requirement for the supply and delivery of Bunk Beds and Mattresses for Camp Crowfoot barracks. 2.0 Delivery Delivery Address: CFB Suffield ATTN: Base Commander / Receiving Section Building 322 Ceprano Avenue Ralston, AB T0J 2N0 Required Delivery Date: Preferred delivery by February 28, 2019; must be delivered no later than 29 March 2019. This allows BATUS time to install the beds before the beginning of the training season in April 2019. 24 hours notification must be provided prior to delivery to have staff ready to receive. 3.0 Delivery Constraints CFB Suffield is designated a Closed Base and thus there are security measures in place to control access on to the base. These measures include the positive control of delivery of goods. All suppliers shipping goods to CFB Suffield should be prepared to have shipments inspected and transport escorted to and from the gates to the drop area. This may cause some delay in the delivery of products. The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
