    NATURE OF REQUIREMENT
    
    Library and Archives Canada (LAC) requires fabrication of a museum quality exhibition consisting of multiple free standing structures, reproductions, and custom designed display furniture for original collection material.
    
    The Contract is from date of award to May 31, 2017.
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions ofthe Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
    
    The requirement is limited to Canadian goods and/or services.
    
    Mandatory Criteria 
    
    M.1 Experience of the Firm
    
    The Bidder must demonstrate that it has been contractually bound under one (1) project to provide exhibition services.   
    
    The Project must have had a total value of at least $100,000.00, excluding taxes. 
    
    During the evaluation no corporate experience gained through internal clients will be accepted or reviewed.
    
    The project must have beencompleted on January 01, 2010 or after.
    
    M.1.1 The project must have included all of the following requirements:
    -Multiple freestanding Structures (walls, alcoves);
    -Reproductions;
    -Installation of the exhibit;
    -Delivery of final exhibit;  
    
    M.1.2: Todemonstrate this experience with external clients the Bidder must provide the following information in a description of the project:
    a.The Contract reference number
    b.The Client information for the Contract
    c.The completion date of the Contract,including the exhibition schedule including dates and deliverables
    d.Two (2) colour photos or colour photocopies of photos of the exhibition sample
    e.A complete description of the requirements for the exhibit. The description must demonstrate the following: 
    oExhibition design;
    oGraphics; 
    oFabrication materials and techniques used; and
    oTrades involved in the exhibition fabrication
    f.The invoice (or copy of) presented to the client
    
    PROPOSALS NOT MEETING ALL OF THE MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR WILLBE GIVEN NO FURTHER CONSIDERATION
    
    
    Financial Evaluation
    
    To determine the total evaluated price, the prices submitted in the Annex B: Basis of Payment of this bid solicitation will be calculated as specified in the Annex B Basis of Payment Excelspreadsheet being distributed through Government Electronic Tender Service.
    
    Basis of Selection
    
    A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract
