Trade Agreement: WTO-AGP/NAFTA/AIT/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Mobile Telemetry Auto-tracking System, Cold Lake, Alberta. Department of National Defence (DND), Cold Lake, Alberta, has a requirement for the supply, delivery and offloading of two (2) Mobile Telemetry Auto-tracking Systems meeting the Minimum Performance Specifications. Each System must consist of the Antenna, Telemetry Receivers, PCM to Ethernet converters and all associated ancillary equipment, components and hardware that comprise the system. The Systems are intended for use in aerospace testing and research activities by the Department of National Defence, Canada. The primary function will be tracking instrumented airborne test vehicles, receiving and relaying telemetry data transmitted by test vehicles in and around 4 Wing Cold Lake, the Primrose Lake Evaluation Range and the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range. The secondary function will be for use in deployed operations away from the local 4 Wing Cold Lake area. The Contractor must provide on-site training for a group of at least six (6) participants on configuration, operation and field maintenance of the Mobile Telemetry Auto-tracking Systems and auxiliary equipment. Training to be conducted at the Customer Site, Canadian Forces Base 4 Wing Cold Lake, AB. The contractor must provide instruction in evaluating the antenna and determining its operational status. The training must show and explain the techniques used to measure and evaluate the operating performance of the antenna. A training syllabus, documents and materials must be provided so that additional personnel can be trained by DND. The contractor must provide qualified instructor(s) having a thorough knowledge of the operation and maintenance procedures of the Mobile Telemetry Auto-tracking Systems. The contractor must provide all relevant course materials, including, operator manuals, maintenance manuals, textbooks, handout material, and supplies for effective course conduct and for retention by the students. Delivery and training are mandatory to be completed no later than March 31, 2014. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
