The FSIMS Solution will provide Canada with the ability to manage inventory for food and non-food items, manage menus and recipes, and schedule and control production. The FSIMS Solution will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of food service delivery to approximately 15,000 inmates within CSC's 57 federal institutions across Canada, and must integrate with CSC's technical environment. This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of the Correctional Services Canada (CSC). It is intended to result in the award of a Contract for 1 year with the irrevocable option to extend the Contract by up to 6 additional one-year periods under the same terms and conditions. The FSIMS must include Licensed Software, Warranty, Software Documentation, Maintenance and Support, and Optional Licensed Software and Maintenance and Support, and must include options to extend the term of the Contract, and to acquire Professional Services and Training on an "as and when requested" basis. All parts of the Software Solution must be available to the Client Users 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and operate at all times in accordance with the Statement of Requirements in the Client's operational environment described in the bid solicitation. There is no security requirement associated with this requirement. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA), the Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement (CColFTA), the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement (CPanFTA) if it is in force, and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
