    This requirement is for: Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)
    
    Only TBIPS SA Holders currently holding a TBIPS SA for Tier 2 in
    the National Capital Region and for each category described in a
    specific Workstream under the EN578-055605/D series of Supply
    Arrangements (SAs) are eligible to compete.  The TBIPS Supply
    Arrangement EN578-055605/D is incorporated by reference and
    forms part of this bid solicitation, as though expressly set out
    in it, subject to any express terms and conditions contained in
    this bid solicitation.
    
    Description of requirement	
    
    The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) processes a significant
    amount of electronic information with external Trading Partners
    as part of its mandate.   In order to improve efficiency, the
    Enterprise and Common Services (ECS) Division is implementing
    Multi-Enterprise Integration (MEI) also known as
    Business-to-Business integration (B2Bi) solution.   B2Bi is an
    enterprise capability meant to facilitate the capture and
    sharing of electronic information between CBSA, Participating
    Government Agencies (PGA), and private enterprise using a common
    centralized integration model.  
    The Business to Business (B2B) Foundation Component will provide
    the CBSA with a technological communications hub that will allow
    IT systems belonging to one organization to communicate with the
    systems of another organization, while minimizing costly changes
    for either system.
    
    As such, the ECS Division has a requirement for IT professional
    services to provide the B2B Integration team with subject matter
    experience using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI) Commercial
    Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product, and expertise in the area of
    Webservice, Business Process Modeling Language (BPML)/Business
    Process Execution Language (BPEL) and production of technical
    artifacts that are involved with the creation of an enterprise
    B2B capability. 
    
    In addition, the ECS Division has a requirement for IT
    professional services in the area of Electronic Data Exchange
    (EDI) to work on various projects related to the CBSA Commercial
    and Travellers systems.

    It is intended to result in the award of up to five contracts. 
    Each Contract will be for one year plus three one-year
    irrevocable options, allowing Canada to extend the term of the

    procurement.
