Project description: Replacement of the existing emergency generator at the NRC Central Heating and Cooling Plant.

Work is to be completed within forty-two (42) weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $1M to $5M.  

MANDATORY INDUSTRIAL SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
 
Thisprocurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS) at level of Reliability Status. Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and nofurther consideration will be given to the Bid. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: 

There will be a site visit on Wednesday, September 7th at 10:00AM. Interested bidders are to meet at the main entrance of 98 Sussex Drive, Ottawa Ontario.  

Health & Safety: Allcontractors must wear hard hats, safety boots and glasses to have access to the site.
