PROJECT IDENTIFICATION:  EH900-171060/A, R.081646.101, SCAFFOLDING SERVICES, NORTH COURTYARD CHIMNEY, Supreme Court of Canada, 301 Wellington Street,  Ottawa, Ontario.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:   
To provide and install a scaffolding system to access thecourtyard chimney at the Supreme Court of Canada building. The courtyard chimney within the scope of work is located at the north end of the building’s central Chamber Block. Due to its location, it is difficult to reach the chimney in order to safely implement masonry work needed to address health and safety risks. As such, a scaffold system that will safely reach the chimney is required.  
Work is to be completed within ten (10) weeks after contract award. 

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:   
Thisprocurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS).  Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will begiven to the Bid. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  
There will be a site visit on September 13, 2016, at 10:00am.  Interested bidders shall meet at the East Entrance, Supreme Court of Canada, 301 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario.

Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green patch).
