PROJECT IDENTIFICATION:  R.071246.001, Perimeter Safety Hoarding
and Overhead Protection, Confederation Building, 229 Wellington
Street, Ottawa, Ontario.

Project description:    This project involves installing
temporary site fencing, hoarding and overhead protection around
the perimeter of the Confederation Building.

Work is to be completed within six (6) weeks after contract
award. 

SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
 
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  

The Contractor personnel requiring access to secure work site(s)
must, at all times during the performance of the Contract, EACH
hold a valid SITE ACCESS clearance, granted or approved by the
Canadian Industrial Security Directorate, Public Works and
Government Services Canada

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  

There will be a site visit on October 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. 
Interested bidders shall meet at the main entrance, 229
Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario.

Please Note: To ensure access, the names of each individual
attending the site visit, their date of birth, and the name of
the firm they represent, must be provided to the Contracting
Officer by 10:00am, October 6, 2014. Contractor
personnel/individuals who do not provide this information may be
denied access to the site.  All names are to be submitted to the
Contractual Authority Hélène Lagacé by email at
helene.lagace@pwgsc.gc.ca.

Enquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no
less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to

Amendments, when issued, will be available from the same
government electronic tendering service.

Firms that elect to base their bids on bid documents obtained
