PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: EP076-210275, PCH-CCI HVAC Modifications, at 1030 Innes Rd., Ottawa Project description: The Canadian Conservation Institute (CCI) is housed at 1030 Innes Rd., Ottawa, in a building initially constructed as a warehouse and later repurposed into a specialized laboratory facility. CCI rehabilitates and repairs artifacts and other items of archaeological value for government museums across Canada. The laboratory environment requires a high-quality HVAC system, which today, requires certain modifications to remain functional and to conform to today’s work and legal requirements. One unit will be replaced and others modifications to other components of the system will be implemented. The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within 26 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer. The NPP Range is: $500,001 to $1,000,000. MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT: This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit on Tuesday November 3, 2020 at 9AM & 10AM. Interested bidders are to meet at: 1030 Innes Rd., Ottawa. ON , in the Lobby. Free parking Upon bidders arrival at 1030 Innes Rd , they will need to check in at the commissionaire desk and fill out a short questionnaire related to the covid-19 and follow all covid-19 protocols and will need to receive a visitor pass. Due to the current situation (COVID-19), each bidders is allowed a maximum of one representative at the site visit. Interested bidders should submit the name of the individual to the Contract Authority sophie.st-germain@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca no later than October 30, 2020 by 3PM. The contracting officer will advise the attendees of their assigned time slot National Research Council Canada Safety Attire - In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment ; safety glasses, footwear, hard hats. Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.
