    NMSO - PLASTIC BUOYS
    
    
    REQUIREMENT: 
    Public Services and Procurement Canada has a requirement for the supply and delivery of Plastic Buoys upon call-up by individual government department. 
    
    The buoy types include: 
    
    1. Small Spar with hull diameters of 0.25 to 0.38 metres,
    2. Small Marker with hull diameters of 0.35 to 0.55 metres, 
    3. Medium Spar with hull diameters of 0.50 to 0.70 metres,
    4. Medium Marker with hull diameters of 0.70 to 0.80 metres,
    5. River Buoy with hull diameters of 0.75 to 1.30 metres,
    6. Large Marker with hull diameters of 1.1 to 1.3 metres, and
    7. Pillar Buoy with hull diameters of 1.4 to 1.5 metres
    
    Principle delivery points are at Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and Victoria, British Columbia. There may be an occasional request for an alternate location within Canada.  All delivery locations are identified in Annex “A” and the Basis of Payment.
    
    PHASED BID COMPLIANCE PROCESS:
    The Phased Bid Compliance Process applies to this requirement.
    
    PERIOD OF STANDING OFFER: 
    The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer is from date of contract award to two years from date of contract award.
    
    EXTENSION OF STANDING OFFER:
    If the Standing Offer is authorized for use beyond the initial period, the Offeror offers to extend its offer for up to one (1) additional one (1) year period(s) under the same conditions and at the rates or prices specified in the Standing Offer, or at the rates or prices calculated in accordance with the formula specified in the Standing Offer.
    
    EPOST CONNECT SERVICE: This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their bid electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 2 entitled Bidder Instructions, and Part 3 entitled Bid Preparation Instructions, of the bid solicitation, for further information.
    
    DEBRIEFINGS: Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
