This Request for Standing Offer is for the provision of taxi
services on an as and when requested basis for various Federal
Government Departments and Agencies within the Halifax Regional
Municipality for a period of one year.  The principal areas
within the Halifax Regional Municipality to be covered include
peninsula Halifax, Dartmouth, Shearwater, Bedford, and Lower
Sackville.

Taxi services in the Halifax Regional Municipality are divided
into three zones, the County Zone, the Dartmouth Zone, and the
Halifax Zone.  Canada reserves the right to issue a Standing
Offer to cover each identified zone pick-up location.

To be declared responsive an offer must comply with alll the
requirements of the Request for Standing Offers (RFSO), and meet
all mandatory technical evaluation criteria.  Offers not meeting
these criteria will be declared non-responsive.

The Standing Offer is for a period of one year from date of
issuance, with two one-year option periods.

The requirement is limited to Canadian services.

This office of Public Works and Government Services Canada
offers services to the public in English.

procurement.
