    The Department of Fisheries and Ocean is requesting a standing offer to have a Contractor fabricate and deliver Steel Navigational Buoys as detailed in Annex A on an "as and when" requested schedule.
    
    SCOPE OF WORK
    
    Required Services
    The Contractor must fabricate, test, and deliver on an as and when requested basis 9 ½ foot (approximately 2.9 metre) diameter welded steel navigation buoy(s) in accordance with the CCG Standard Steel Buoys for Aids to Navigation Specification and the 2.9M Buoy Hull drawings attached as Appendix A and A1 respectively. 
    
    Anticipated Quantities
    The initial call-up against the Standing Offer is anticipated but not necessarily guaranteed to be for a quantity of ten (10) buoys, five (5) long leg buoys and five (5) short leg buoys to be delivered to the CCG Base at 50 Discovery Drive, Dartmouth, NS no later than March 31 2017.
     
    For drawings, bidders must contact the Contracting Authority identified in Article 7- 5.1.
    
    Term of Contract
    Work must commence and be completed as follows:
    Commence:  on receipt of Standing Offer Agreement issuance to March 31, 2018; 
    There are three (3) - one (1) year option periods.
    
    All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority no later than ten (10) working days before the bid closing date.  Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.
    
    This standing offer is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the World Trade Organization (WTO).

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
