    To provide labour, parts, material, and equipment to carry out
    the docking and refit on and  for CCGS Hudson in accordance with
    specification No. 14-H011-007-2.
    
    The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the World Trade
    Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP),
    Annex 4 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA),
    Chapter Ten Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1, however, it is subject to
    the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). 
    
    Suppliers are to note the the CCGS Hudson will not transit to
    any contractor facilities for this docking that requires the
    vessel to transit through ice. Although ice strenghtened, the
    vessel's age prohibits it from risking any damages as a result
    of encounters with ice covered waters. Bids will only be
    considered and evaluated from facilities that have open waters
    to and from the vessel's home port and the contractor facilities
    during the time period for this docking.
    
    A bidders' conference will be held at 1:00 PM on 13 November
    2014 while the vessel is tied up at the Bedford Institute of
    Oceanography.  The vessel  will be available for viewing prior
    to and immediately following the bidder's conference. Bidders
    are to communicate with the Contracting Authority prior to the
    conference to confirm attendence.
    
    The Government of Canada reserves the right to negotiate with
    suppliers on any procurement.
    
    WORK PERIOD:
    
    Commencement:    12 January 2015;	
    Completion:           No later than 20 February 2015.
