Telephone No. - (902) 496-5180 Fax No. - (902) 496-5016 DRDC Atlantic is conducting R&D activities investigating a number of fire suppression technologies on board naval vessels. One of these technologies is the use of aerosol (propelled extinguishing agent technologies) for use as fire extinguishing agents in shipboard applications where Halon has historically been used. The requirement is for the test and evaluation of handheld (portable) aerosol fire extinguishing agents for the extinguishment of obstructed and unobstructed fires in simulated marine machinery spaces. Start Date: Upon Award of Contract Draft Final Report: 15 January 2013 Completion Date: 15 February 2013 See details in the RFP. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
